The Recording Club
Platinum Membership · Prepared for Morgan Amplification

Joe judges an amp by how it
answers your hands. We built
a whole club on that idea.

An amp that measures well on a bench and dies in a room is a failed amp. That argument can only be won where players are actually playing. The Recording Club runs on the same belief: gear belongs in rooms, in sessions, in hands. Platinum puts Morgan Amplification inside the building, and the four doors below are already built. Click anything.

The Morgan build

Twenty five minutes from the bench to the room

The players who built Morgan's reputation are the players who work here: LA and Nashville session guitarists, on paid dates, every day. Four things Platinum builds for Morgan, all included in the membership.

An AC20 or a Dual 20 in the backline

A Morgan lives in the backline of our main tracking room, where the session players who already define your reputation reach for it on a paid date instead of on a trade show floor. Every session is a demo, and nobody is being sold to.

Featured, then followed up

The amp gets featured on the floor, and we print a Morgan look book to live in the building. When a player finishes a take and asks what that head was, staff hand them the book and send them to you.

A Morgan owners app

Every Morgan is wired by hand, so every Morgan has a build record that nobody can currently see. Owners register by serial and get the build sheet, a tube hour log, and Power Level recall per room. The full screen by screen vision is live on the app board. We shipped the same app for Darryl Jones's bass owners, so yours is a build, not a promise.

On the stage

A home base in Santa Monica

A Google Maps pin at the club's address, your endorsers hosted for sessions in our rooms, artist content shot on the 5-camera stage. Morgan works out of the club like it is your west side office.

The list is not fixed. Platinum means the club's design and engineering team works for Morgan. Sites and apps are designed and built at no cost, then maintained at $70 an hour, half our public rate. You hold every amp to a standard that outlasts the buyer. Tell us what you need and we hold the build to the same.

The vision · live and clickable

A vision for the new morganamps.com

This is what Platinum's build team sees for Morgan's web presence, built as a working concept from your own catalogue and photography: 30 pages, all 22 products, every artist on your roster. Click anything below and walk through it.

Proof

We already did this for the Rolling Stones’ bassist

Darryl Jones, bassist for the Rolling Stones, joined Platinum. The club rebuilt his company's website, shipped an iPhone app for the players who own his basses, and designed the wall where his basses will sell in the building. All of it included in his membership. Read the full case study.

The club itself

And the studio is still the studio

Everything above sits on top of the core of Platinum: the best rooms in the building, whenever you want them. See them all at therecording.club/studios.
